Nicholas was invited to sing in the School Choir this December, which is a big deal at School! This is the first year that fourth graders were invited to sing, and we're very proud that he was selected. The CS Choir sings every year at the University of M President's reception for the entire campus (a very big deal at UofM). They also are invited to sing around the Christmas tree in the grand lobby of a world famous hotel downtown (reportedly one of only two elementary school choirs to receive such an invitation)! It was a busy week and a half, but was lots of fun (and he got to get out of school, which is always fun)!
I got to tag along and be the "Little Drummer Boy" for that carol, playing my best for Him and the School choir.
