Baking Day!
Last week my sweet friend Sarah and I had our first baking day! It was so much fun. We got together earlier in the week picked out 6 recipes to try and then went shopping. Friday night we got together at her house to cook, while the rest of our families got together at our house for pizza and Wii. Everyone had a great time and Sarah and I managed to cook some very yummy meals to stock our freezer with. We plan on conquering this task about once a month. Woot! Woot!! Go Karen! Awesome job! I enjoyed hopping over to your friend's blog and eyeing your pics there. Looks like y'all had fun. I know that was no small task. Totally impressed with y'all's hard work. I've done some freezer cooking in spurts, but I've never done a month's worth. That's quite an undertaking. The best was when I had both babies, Mom cooked enough for a couple of weeks worth of meals for us before she left and froze them. True luxury! :)
