Nicholas is 10!!

Can you believe it? My little boy is 10! He loves to remind me on a daily basis that he is "double digits". I am struggling with this. How is it that he is already 10 years old. He is smart, funny, inquisitive, thoughtful, and eager. He loves to read, build legos, play video games, and guitar. He loves to learn about the Lord and told me this summer "since we are at this new church I am growing closer to God!" He loves his friends and school. He REALLY likes Caroline Duncan! He and I have struggled over the last two years--he may look just like Nick but he is really more like me on the inside. He LOVES a plan and a schedule. He DOES NOT like change. He is definitely a Type A. He and I have found our happy place recently and I think I have managed to help him understand that I do and will LOVE HIM no matter what. I am so thankful that God has blessed us with these 10 years and I look forward to watching Nicholas continue to grow into who God has planned him to be. I pray that I am worthy of the task!
