We got up very early, and made the trek to Collierville to "Oh Susannah's" doughnut shop, where Caroline will have her birthday party later in the month. She and about 9 other friends get to pound dough, cut doughnuts, make a kitty-cat out of doughnuts, and bake their very own doughnuts...WHAT A HOOT THAT WILL BE!
We had to book her party in person and pay a deposit, so off we went. Then, we piled back in the van and drove to The Home Depot back near our house, for Caroline and Nicholas to participate in the Home Depot "Young Builders Project" (or something like that). One Saturday a month, kids can go to Home Depot and build the "project of the day" for free - they get to keep the project, and get a snazzy home depot apron and collectible pin. Amazing!
Caroline had two good friends and their parents meet us there; Mary Ann and Emma Shuler. Here's a slideshow of all the "Bob" and "Bobbi" the builders!
And finally, everyone poses with their masterpieces!
