And from Memphis, Starting at pitcher...

#26...Nicholas Holland!

Nicholas is in his 1st season of "Kid-pitch" baseball (Grade 3/4 team...yes, he's playing up) with Trinity Baptist Church. Nicholas began the season at 2nd base, but Dad noticed in backyard tosses that he had a pretty good zip on a fastball, and could occasionally (accidentally) throw a curve
ball. Here's his line from his first ever start as pitcher...

Winning Pitcher: N. Holland (1-0)

Trinity 9 13 0

FAC 4 9 0

4 innings pitched, complete game
9 hits allowed
4 runs allowed
2 hit batsmen
5 strikeouts (one called)
1 single
1 double

1 RBI
1 run scored

Yep, Daddy's proud! Besides, professional baseball players can play into their 40s...ahhh, comfortable retirement! (yeah right...)
