Happy Birthday Olivia!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVIA!!  Our sweet niece turned 8 last Monday!  She is such a sweet, fun, creative girl and Caroline adores her as we all do!  We know she had a wonderful day, we just wish we could have celebrated with her!  We Love you Liv!

Happy Birthday Ethan!

Here is our sweet nephew/cousin Ethan!  We took a quick overnight trip to GA over the weekend to celebrate a bunch of birthdays!  Ethan turned 7 this past weekend and celebrated by breaking his wrist!  We didn't know this officially until yesterday.  He was a trooper and spent the weekend playing with his cousins after we wrapped his arm up!  Isn't he a cutie!!  Happy Birthday Ethan!!!

I also want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my mom.  Can you believe I spent 30 minutes going through our iphoto and I cannot find one picture of her?  She doesn't like her picture taken so...... Happy Birthday mom!!

Happy Birthday Benjamin!

Our little nephew Benjamin is 5 years old today!  He is such great fun! Loves Star Wars, dress up play (especially with Nicholas' Darth Vader helmet), swords, sword fights and is 150% boy!  Such a cutie!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY BENJAMIN, the Hollands love you!

Pool!

WooooHoooo! Our neighborhood pool is now open!  We are so excited! (hence the new background) We didn't get to enjoy the pool last year when we moved here but we plan on taking full advantage of it this year! Fun Times!

Missing you!

Do you all remember that 80's song missing you?  Nick and I have had a friendly marriage spat over the last several years about who really sings that song.  Years ago, we settled this but really John Waite--who every heard of John Waite??  Even one of his best friends agreed with me and we scoured a music store to prove Nick wrong.  Welll.....

All that to say, as I was going through I photo, I saw all of these pictures and my heart was full of happiness and sadness all at the same time.  Full of happiness because I have some of the greatest friends and sad because I miss them all so much. Thank you for loving me for me, picking me up, laughing and crying with me, loving my family, teaching me about the love of God by how you live your lives and so much more.

I am a better me because of all of you!

Birthdays Galore!!

March starts off with a bang!  March 2nd is my sister's Birthday, March 3rd is our dear friend Roane's birthday, March 4th is Lindsey's birthday, March 5th is Becca's birthday and March 8th is my brother's birthday!  Can you understand why I'm behind?  All of these people hold such a special place in our lives.  We could NEVER have survived being so far from family the 11 years we lived in Memphis without Becca, Roane and Lindsey.  They brightened our lives in so many ways.  Lindsey and Becca started off as babysitters/house sitters and then became family, almost all of our memories in Memphis have Becca and Lindsey in them.  Roane taught Nicholas and Caroline to swim, we went to many holidays at her home, she did an Easter egg hunt for N and C, and I got to take her with us to SC in the beautiful paintings she did for us.  They are our family!  My brother is a God Loving, hardworking, wonderful father, husband and man and I am proud to be a part of his life!  Here are some pictures to celebrate our FAMILY birthdays!

Here is a shout out to my zany, crazy sister who turns the big 30!!! today!  She is a little bummed about it but I think we all get better with age--don't you!  She runs races, is a great mom, a great sis (I talk to her everyday) and a military wife!  What more do you need to know?  HAPPY BIRTHDAY THERESA!
