The Mighty Sound made the trek to Jonesboro, Arkansas on Sept 8th for the football game between the ASU Indians and our Memphis Tigers!
It was a day of crazy details gone bad, which makes Nick go postal! Here is one of Nicholas' best buddies Cole, who made the trip with us. He is so eloquently foreshadowing our impending doom...

The ASU police changed our parking zone without telling us -
3 of our 7 buses unloaded in one place, while the other 4 were forced to unload on the OTHER SIDE of the stadium...Boo them!
We were fed dinner by the Band Alumni Chapter (awesome!), and then sat in the stands. The ASU band was on the sideline about to begin their pregame show, and then...
It come a floodin'!
It was 5:45 PM, and the game was set to begin at 6:00...and it rained...
Here are Dad & Nicholas after the first cloudburst...

It was 6:30 PM, and the game was officially delayed 1 hour...and it still rained...
Of course to Caroline, it's always a party!
It was 8:00 PM, and the game was officially delayed more...with the intent to still play...and it still rained...
Karen and Carol Parker celebrate Tiger Football with the camera!

It was 9:30 PM, and the game was officially postponed...and the raining slowed to a drizzle!

It was the lighting that wrecked it for all of us!

So, the MIGHTY SOUND will try it again on Thursday night, September 27th!
So long Jonesboro...Boo!
